On Friday (August 7), Israeli forces and settlers carried out fresh attacks, arrests, and raids against Palestinians across the occupied West Bank. This information was reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
WAFA reported that three Palestinians were injured in an attack by Israeli settlers in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus; the victims were beaten during the incident.
According to reports, a Palestinian was wounded when settlers opened fire in the Abu Nujaim area, southeast of Bethlehem. When an ambulance arrived at the scene to assist the victim, it was also attacked, and the ambulance crew members were sprayed with pepper spray. Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the home of a Palestinian family in the Anza area, south of Jenin, and arrested a 13-year-old boy. Additionally, another Palestinian was arrested after being beaten in the Beit Furik area, east of Nablus.
The WAFA report further stated that Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes and settlements in the northern Jordan Valley and areas surrounding Ramallah.
Separately, Israeli forces conducted search operations in various areas—including Bethlehem, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Tubas—and blocked roads by setting up checkpoints.
Violence in the occupied West Bank has risen significantly in 2026. According to data from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), approximately 850 Palestinians have been injured in attacks by Israeli settlers so far this year, up to mid-July.
