Kim Kardashian West (Born October 21, 1980) is an American Media Personality, Model, Businesswoman, & socialite. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, she first garnered media attention through her friendship with Paris Hilton, but she received wider notice after a 2003 sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J was leaked in 2007. Kardashian subsequently gained media attention for her high-profile relationships, including her relationships with Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries, and her marriage to American rapper Kanye West.

Kardashian began her career in 2004 with a guest appearance on the reality television series Beyond the Break. In October 2007, she and her family began to appear in the E! television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
