Four members of the same family have been killed in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip. According to the news agency Wafa, Israel carried out an airstrike early Wednesday morning in Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip. Four people, including a six-year-old child, were killed in the attack.
The strike targeted a home, killing 33-year-old Omar Sami Ahmed Abu Qassem, his wife Asma Ghazi Abu Qassem, and their daughter Habiba Omar Sami Abu Qassem. The identity of the fourth victim has not yet been disclosed.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll from Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 2023 has surpassed 73,000, with more than 173,000 people injured. Additionally, it is feared that thousands more remain trapped under the rubble.
