US President Donald Trump has stated that the ongoing conflict with Iran will end “very soon.” He made these remarks in Washington D.C. on Tuesday (local time), according to Al Jazeera.
Reports indicate that following Trump’s comments, oil prices in the international market saw a significant drop.
Trump made these remarks at an event launching a new artificial intelligence (AI)-driven federal platform.
Claiming that Iran is “failing very badly,” Trump reiterated that the country would never possess nuclear weapons.
Regarding the conflict with Iran, he said, “It will end very soon.”
Trump added, “They won’t have nuclear weapons, and oil prices will drop rapidly again—back to where they were before I had to undertake that little operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
