US President Donald Trump has stated that no attacks will be carried out against Iran today (October 25). However, he did not provide any details regarding whether such attacks might resume in the coming days.
As he was leaving the White House for Michigan on Sunday, reporters asked Trump whether US attacks might resume today. In response, Trump asked, “Do you expect me to tell you that?” He then added, “The answer is no—there will be no attacks today.” This statement effectively rules out the possibility of a US attack on Iran, at least for today. However, his remarks offered no clear indication as to how long this pause in attacks might last.
Previously, on Saturday, Trump had suggested that US forces could potentially launch attacks on Iran as early as Sunday.
