This time there was a ballistic missile attack in Israel. The attack took place in the southern area of the country. This information has been given in a report of the news agency Reuters.

A spokesman for Yemen’s Houthi rebels said in a statement that they had fired several ballistic missiles at Israeli forces.

A US warship, an Earle Burke class destroyer, shot down a drone on Wednesday morning, US officials said. The drone was launched from Houthi territory in Yemen. The number of casualties or damage caused by the drone launched by the Houthis is not known. Also, it is not clear at whom it was fired.

With this, US warships have been hit 6 times in the Red Sea. The country’s warships were attacked amid the Palestinian-Israeli war. Even at this time, commercial ships in the Mediterranean Sea are under attack.

The Houthis said in a statement that they will continue military operations against Israeli forces. Israeli ships will not even be allowed to sail in the Sea of Abar and the Red Sea. The move has been reported by rebels in support of Palestine.

Earlier, Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed that they had attacked two Israeli ships. The attack was carried out by armed drones and a naval missile. A spokesperson of the military part of the organization informed this information.

Reuters reported on Sunday that the Houthi spokesman added that two ships, the Unity Explorer and Number Nine, were targeted after they rejected warnings from the Houthi navy.

British maritime security company Ambre said a bulk carrier ship collided with at least two drones while sailing in the Red Sea. Another container ship was reportedly damaged by a drone strike about 101 kilometers (63 miles) northwest of the northern Yemeni port of Hodeidah.

A US warship and several commercial vessels were attacked in the Red Sea, the Pentagon said. It is part of a series of naval attacks since the Israel-Hamas war began on October 7.
