Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called upon neighboring countries to unite based on self-reliance and a spirit of “genuine brotherhood.” He stated that Iran’s armed forces have demonstrated their capabilities in the face of the world’s most advanced military power.
In a post on X, Araghchi wrote, “Facing the world’s most expensive military forces, Iran’s powerful armed forces have proven their readiness, capability, and strength.”
The top Iranian diplomat added, “When Muslims stand united, we can collectively confront every challenge posed by hostile external forces.”
He remarked, “The time has come to rely solely on ourselves and to embrace true brotherhood.”
Araghchi made these comments against the backdrop of the regional conflict that has persisted for months following the launch of aggressive warfare by the US and Israel against Iran.
The conflict was ignited by the commencement of US and Israeli military operations against Iran. During the hostilities, in retaliation for attacks on Iranian territory, Iran’s military struck various US military bases across the Middle East.
