At least eight service members aboard a US aircraft carrier have attempted suicide. A US lawmaker revealed that the Trump administration has officially acknowledged this information. The incidents occurred on the USS Abraham Lincoln, an aircraft carrier that has been deployed in the Middle East for an extended period. This information was disclosed in a letter sent by Acting Navy Secretary H.C. “Hunk” Koh to Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. The news agency AFP reported the story.
