Aerial and drone attacks between Ukraine and Russia have intensified. At least 10 people lost their lives on Saturday in reciprocal strikes by both sides. Amidst this fierce conflict, US President Donald Trump has urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reach a settlement with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The news agency AP reported this development.
Officials stated that at least four people were killed in a fresh wave of Russian missile and drone attacks across Ukraine. Two civilians died in the city of Zaporizhzhia and another two in Sumy. Additionally, Russian drones struck residential and commercial buildings in the capital, Kyiv. The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that a data center for the Starlink satellite communication system was damaged in their attack on Kyiv. Meanwhile, Ukraine launched retaliatory strikes targeting Russian oil refineries using long-range drones. These exchanges resulted in casualties in border areas and occupied territories on both sides.

As the conflict escalates, Donald Trump expressed hope that Zelenskyy and Putin would reach an agreement before the upcoming winter. Trump stated that he wants Zelenskyy to strike a deal with Putin. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has alleged that Moscow is making its attacks increasingly brutal by the day. He called on international partners to take stricter measures against Russia to prevent the conflict from spreading further.
