Three members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard killed in US missile strike

Three members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have been killed in a US missile strike. This information comes from an IRGC statement cited by Iran’s semi-official news agency, Tasnim News, as reported by Al Jazeera. The statement, issued by the IRGC’s Zanjan province branch (Ansar al-Mahdi), identified the three deceased members as Mahmoud Mollajabari, Mohammadreza Cheraghi, and Jamal Amiri.

The IRGC stated that they were killed in a US attack on July 30. The statement noted that they lost their lives while “defending Iran’s borders and people.”

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard strongly condemned the attack, describing it as a “brutal assault by the criminal terrorist regime of the United States.”

The IRGC extended its condolences to Iran’s Supreme Leader, the families of the deceased, and the people of the country. However, there was no immediate reaction from the United States regarding the attack.
