Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday (May 10) that the war with Iran is not yet over. The Anadolu Agency reported this information in its online coverage.

In an interview with CBS News, Netanyahu asserted that the conflict with Iran has not ended and that facilities housing uranium stockpiles must be destroyed. Furthermore, highly enriched uranium must be removed from Tehran.

The Israeli Prime Minister noted that the objectives of the Israel-US campaign against Tehran—which is currently under a ceasefire—include halting Iran’s ballistic missile production, destroying its uranium-stockpiling infrastructure, and removing its uranium. Additionally, the goal involves countering Iran’s proxy forces in the region.

He claimed that while a significant portion of their capabilities has been destroyed, Iran still retains certain capabilities that must be eliminated.

Netanyahu indicated that it is possible to go into Iran and retrieve their uranium; however, he did not provide any further details regarding this matter. He mentioned that US President Donald Trump had told him that he wished to go there.

On Saturday, Israeli media reports stated that Trump had pledged to Netanyahu that he would make no concessions regarding the uranium issue.
