Iran’s Supreme Leader has called upon the Muslim world to unite. He issued this call to confront the ‘real enemy’ that seeks to sow discord among Muslims globally. In a written statement, Khamenei noted that enemies are attempting to create divisions among Muslims in Islamic nations—including Iran—by exploiting ethnic, cultural, social, economic, political, and geographical differences. They aim to witness the fragmentation and weakening of the Islamic Ummah so that they can seize the opportunity to impose their own hegemony. Al Jazeera Online reported this news.
He urged everyone to refrain from any actions that could cause division among Muslims. Addressing the issue of Palestine, Khamenei asked: if Muslims had remained united and consolidated their strength, would the Palestinian people have been left so helpless, falling victim to such oppression and atrocities at the hands of the occupiers?
Referring to the Persian Gulf nations, he further asked: if the countries and governments bordering the Persian Gulf had united under the banner of Islam, would corrupt and identity-less villains from thousands of kilometers away have dared to covet their lands and resources?
At the same time, Khamenei called upon the heads of state of Muslim nations to recognize their true enemy, understand their schemes, and confront them. He stated that the criminal ruling regime of the United States and the illegitimate Zionist government are sworn enemies of this unity and friendship. They are not merely enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran or the Islamic Resistance Front; rather, they harbor hostility toward the entire Muslim Ummah, spanning West Asia to North Africa.
