Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), has warned of potential, more significant strikes targeting Iran. He signaled this intention on Tuesday (June 9).
The Israeli official stated that Iran is attempting to alter the reality on the ground or impose its own terms, but such efforts will fail.

Zamir affirmed that Israel would continue to exert pressure and launch attacks targeting the Iran-backed Lebanese armed group Hezbollah in order to ensure the safety of the population in the north.

He noted that the IDF has successfully countered threats emanating from Iran and executed swift, powerful retaliatory strikes.
In his words, these operations served as preparation for even larger and more devastating blows.
He declared emphatically, “We are ready once again to launch deeper and more powerful strikes against Iran.”
