US Congresswoman Yasamin Ansari has sharply criticized the military campaign against Iran and called for the impeachment of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
In a post on the social media platform X, Ansari stated that following Donald Trump’s initiation of an “illegal war” against Iran, a US military strike killed 120 children at a school. Additionally, 18 US service members have lost their lives, and the American people are bearing the burden of record-high fuel prices.
Ansari alleged that while US citizens are enduring record-high gas prices, Trump and his sons have profited from investments in defense technology companies.
She further remarked, “Neither President Donald Trump nor Pete Hegseth has achieved any objectives in this war. Service members, children, and innocent civilians have lost their lives for no reason.”
Ansari declared, “This war must end, and Pete Hegseth must be impeached.”
