Iran has launched attacks targeting US military installations in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. Tehran claims that US airbases, radar systems, weapons depots, and fighter jets located in these countries have sustained damage.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the destruction of a major “AI center” and a US drone vessel depot in Bahrain. In a statement, the IRGC said the attacks were carried out in retaliation for a US strike on Iran.
The statement noted that on Friday night, US military forces attacked several bridges in Iran, killing a number of civilians—an act described as a war crime.
Iran also launched a ballistic missile attack on a US base in Saudi Arabia. US media outlet Axios reported that the attack took place on Saturday, marking Tehran’s first direct strike on the Gulf nation in nearly four months.
Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain reported intercepting several Iranian missiles and drones. Meanwhile, Qatar stated that its armed forces had thwarted multiple aerial attacks.
On Saturday, the Jordanian Armed Forces announced that their air defense units had intercepted ten Iranian missiles fired at the country during the early hours of the morning. The army reported no casualties or property damage resulting from the incident.
