Senior military commanders of Yemen’s Houthi rebels have warned of attacks on Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure in response to the ongoing strikes and blockade in Yemen. They claim that attacks on energy facilities deep within Saudi territory could “destroy” the country’s economy.
A Press TV report states that senior Houthi political and military leaders announced in a joint statement that they would continue their operations against Saudi Arabia.
The statement asserts that the Yemeni armed forces possess ballistic missiles and combat drones capable of reaching locations where Saudi officials might seek refuge for safety.
The Houthi leaders warned, “You will pay a heavy price for even the slightest act of foolishness.”
They further claimed that the Yemeni armed forces have established a “new equation” regarding resistance.
