Former Miss Switzerland and model Beatrice Kühl has accused U.S. President Donald Trump of rape. This allegation is detailed in a report prepared by the Democratic Party. Shortly before the 2024 presidential election, Kühl claimed that Trump had sexually assaulted her in November 1993; she has now further alleged that he raped her during that same incident. This has been reported by The Telegraph (online).
The report, released on Monday, outlines an investigation by Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives into Trump’s alleged ties to the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein. The White House has denied the allegations, with a spokesperson for Trump describing them as a “desperate attempt by unhinged Democrats.”
The spokesperson argued that these accusations are being raised to distract Americans from the momentum the Republican Party has gained following President Trump’s historic achievements. According to the report, Kühl—in interviews with Democratic committee staff over several weeks—recounted that she first met Trump at the age of 24 during a press conference for a beauty pageant held at the Plaza Hotel in New York, which Trump owned at the time.
Kühl alleges that Trump promised to help her secure a visa and assured her that he could facilitate her admission to New York University (NYU). The report quotes Kühl as saying that Trump told her, “I will take care of you.”
According to Kühl, shortly after her conversation with Trump, Jeffrey Epstein approached her, introduced himself as “Don’s best friend,” and invited her to a party at Mar-a-Lago, remarking, “We host many parties with Don.”
Trump has maintained that his friendship with Epstein ended long before any suspicions of criminal activity arose. She described Epstein as a man with perverted tastes and claimed that she had once had him removed from the Mar-a-Lago club. According to a report by the Democrats, a representative for Trump later allegedly invited Keul to meet the future president on an upper floor of the Plaza Hotel.
The report claims that once inside, Trump grabbed Keul from behind and forcibly raped her. During the assault, her clothing was torn, and she sustained bleeding and bruising on various parts of her body. The report further notes that Keul described the incident as a “brutal” rape. She alleges that after the attack, Trump made her sit on the edge of the bed and reiterated his promise to arrange a visa and admission to New York University for her. He also demanded that she keep the incident a secret, reportedly saying, “The show must go on.”
In an initial account provided in October 2024, Keul stated that Trump had sexually assaulted her at the Plaza Hotel in 1993. At the time, she told the Daily Mail, “He kissed me on my lips and neck. He tried to lift my clothes. He touched and groped me wherever he could reach.” However, Keul had indicated back then that the incident did not go any further. In her words, “I did everything I could. Eventually, I said, ‘Let’s talk first,’ or something to that effect. He stopped after that.”
The former model, who stands six feet one inch tall, suggested that her physical stature may have prevented the alleged assault from escalating further. The newspaper also reported that a long-time friend of Keul’s stated that she had first confided in them about Trump’s unwanted sexual advances 20 years ago. Her account of the incident has remained consistent ever since.
In 2024, Karoline Leavitt, who served as Trump’s press secretary at the time, dismissed the allegations as “false.” A White House spokesperson stated that Trump has been “completely exonerated” regarding any matters concerning Epstein. The spokesperson added, “This ‘report’ is nothing more than another desperate attempt by unhinged Democrats to distract the American people from the momentum the Republicans have gained thanks to President Trump’s historic achievements.”
