Diego Armando Maradona was born on October 30, 1960, – in Lanús, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was the fifth of eight children born to Diego Maradona Senior & Dalma Salvadora Franco. His father was a bricklayer & his mother worked in a Textile factory.
