According to the report, former TV journalist Ekaterina Dunstva was declared ineligible for the next presidential election on Saturday. He took a stand against President Vladimir Putin over the attack on Ukraine.

The members of the Central Electoral Commission voted to cancel his candidature. They say that there are numerous errors in the documents submitted by the candidate to contest the election.

Critics claim that he will not be allowed to stand against Vladimir Putin in the Russian presidential election in March next year. The country is going to hold elections for the first time since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is actually a process of faking possible outcomes.

The Kremlin says Putin will win the popular vote again in the next election. He is likely to get 80 percent of the votes in the election.

Dunstva said in a telegram message that he will challenge the decision of the candidate in the Supreme Court. He also referred to this decision of the commission as undemocratic and injustice.

He said, through such political decisions, we have been deprived of the opportunity to represent ourselves and express ourselves. He also criticized the officials’ decision as aggressive.

Earlier, on December 8, a report of the state news agency informed that the presidential election of Russia is scheduled to be held in March next year. Current Russian President Vladimir Putin will compete in this election.
