Brigadier General Ali Belali, an advisor to the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has warned that any nation providing assistance to the United States in a new war against Iran will be considered a “legitimate target.”
In an interview with the Iranian Arabic-language news outlet Al-Alam, he stated that appropriate measures would be taken against any country that facilitates or coordinates with US aggression. He further noted that Iran’s Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has issued directives to respond to any threats from adversaries, without regard for geographical boundaries.
Belali stated that Iran’s missile, drone, and air defense capabilities are now largely based on indigenous technology. He added that Iran possesses the capacity to launch strikes—from its extensive network of underground missile bases across the country—against Israeli-occupied territories and US military installations throughout the Middle East.
He further claimed that, due to the sheer volume of Iran’s missiles and its sophisticated offensive tactics, the advanced air defense systems employed by the US and Israel are becoming increasingly ineffective. According to him, no area within the range of Iran’s weaponry can be considered safe for US forces.
In light of this, he called for the withdrawal of US forces from the Middle East, noting that Iran’s missile production capacity has grown significantly, necessitating additional facilities to store the weaponry being produced.
