Minister of Iranian Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ministry Izzatullah Zargami said, this decision of our government has sent a message to the world community that we are ready to welcome tourists from different countries of the world and provide them with advanced facilities to give them a comfortable and enjoyable experience in this country.
He said, through this step, Tehran will deal with issues like negative perception, rumors and Iranophobia about Iran. Although the government initially proposed to allow visa-free entry to 60 countries, the government has allowed 33 countries.
These countries are – India, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Mauritania, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Seychelles, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Japan, Singapore. , Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil, Peru, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Belarus.
