Putting an end to long-standing speculation, world-famous pop star Taylor Swift and American football star Travis Kelce are finally set to tie the knot. Although they have not made an official announcement, multiple US media reports claim that their highly anticipated wedding ceremony will take place this Friday (July 3) at New York’s historic Madison Square Garden (MSG).
The relationship between this high-profile couple deepened rapidly after they were first seen together in public in 2023. They announced their engagement in August 2025, sparking immense interest among fans regarding their wedding.

Wedding Fever Across New York
Amidst the wedding rumors, extensive preparations have been underway at Madison Square Garden over the past few days. Photos captured by paparazzi show food, decorations, and various equipment being transported to the venue. US media outlets have reported that carpets are being laid at the entrance, special fabric draping is being installed on the ceiling, and a massive stage designed to resemble a castle is being constructed inside.
The New York Times reported that permission has been obtained to close the streets adjacent to Madison Square Garden from July 2 to July 4 for the occasion.
New York official Zohran Mamdani also recently made a suggestive comment, stating that if someone were getting married at Madison Square Garden, they would certainly be inside—and staying cool.

Over a Thousand Guests
According to US media reports, more than a thousand guests are expected to attend the ceremony. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) were sent along with the wedding invitations. It has also been reported that the use of mobile phones will be prohibited during the event.
In addition to family members from both sides, Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are likely to attend the wedding. Additionally, Swift’s close friends—including Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, Zoë Kravitz, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, the Haim sisters, and childhood friend Abigail Anderson Berard—are expected to attend.
Variety has reported that British singer Harry Styles was also invited but will be unable to attend due to his tour schedule.

Event Schedule
According to reports, the rehearsal dinner took place on Thursday night (local time). Doors will open for guests at 3:30 PM on Friday, with the cocktail hour beginning at 4:00 PM.
The main wedding ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 PM. The reception will follow at 6:30 PM and continue until 2:00 AM.
There is speculation that legendary musicians Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw will give special performances at the event.

What Will Swift Wear?
There is also much discussion regarding Taylor Swift’s wedding attire. Fashion experts anticipate that she will change outfits multiple times throughout the various stages of the event.
Designs from international brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, and Givenchy are reportedly among her preferences, leaving fans eager to see which designer she ultimately chooses.

Fan Excitement
The wedding has sparked immense excitement across the United States. The online prediction platform Kalshi reported that over $4.5 million in bets have already been placed regarding the Swift-Kelce wedding.
However, some fans still suspect there may be a secret plan behind all these elaborate preparations. They speculate that the celebrity couple might have already officially tied the knot in a private, intimate ceremony prior to the Madison Square Garden event.
All speculation will be put to rest at Friday’s event. Millions of fans worldwide are now awaiting the official beginning of this new chapter in the lives of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
