Popular US reality TV star Kim Zolciak has claimed that the allegations of sexual abuse leveled against her 15-year-old son are baseless and untrue. Police arrested her teenage son, KJ Biermann, in Alpharetta, Georgia, on August 17. He faces two serious charges—aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sodomy—stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred last April. Fox News reported this story.
Under Georgia law, which allows individuals aged 13 to 17 to be tried as adults for serious offenses, legal proceedings against KJ have commenced in adult court. However, in a statement, Kim Zolciak—known for The Real Housewives of Atlanta—asserted that her son never had any contact with the accuser.
She stated that her son voluntarily took and passed a polygraph test and that no DNA evidence linking him to the incident was found during the investigation. Kim further claimed that the accuser had previously leveled similar baseless allegations against two other individuals. KJ is currently being held without bail at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, with a hearing scheduled for September. KJ is the eldest of four children born to former NFL player Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak. Zolciak expressed strong confidence that the truth would be revealed through the legal process.
