The US military is exploring new methods to punish and exert pressure on Iran. According to the US news outlet CNN, troops have been asked to devise creative and unconventional plans for this purpose.
Citing sources, the report states that last Wednesday, an intelligence official from US Central Command (CENTCOM) sent a message to a large group of military analysts, writing, “We are looking for new, creative, and unconventional ways to exert pressure on Iran and punish the country.”
Additionally, citing a second source, the report notes that a senior US military official sent the message last week, soliciting new ideas and proposals regarding potential actions against Iran.
