7 killed in Russia in Ukrainian drone attack.

At least seven warehouse workers were killed and dozens injured across various Russian regions in a series of Ukrainian drone attacks. Local governors also reported a fire at an oil depot in the greater Moscow area.

Yevgeny Pervyshov, the governor of the Tambov region, stated that 25 people were injured when a Ukrainian drone struck a warehouse belonging to Wildberries—Russia’s largest online retailer—in the city of Kotovsk, located approximately 475 kilometers southeast of Moscow.

“Seven people working the night shift were killed at the scene,” he wrote on Telegram, adding that 28 drones had been shot down prior to the strike.

“Had the drones fully reached their targets, the number of civilian casualties could have been far higher,” Pervyshov said.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces had attacked two Russian logistics facilities used to supply components for drone production and navigation equipment. He also claimed that an oil facility had been struck.

Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region, reported that another 24 people were injured in a drone attack on a different Wildberries warehouse in the city of Elektrostal, east of Moscow.

Wildberries co-founder and CEO Tatyana Kim described the event as a “terrible night” for both Russia and the company, expressing her condolences to the families of the deceased.

Separately, Governor Vorobyov reported that debris from a downed drone ignited a fire at an oil depot in the city of Noginsk, also in the Moscow region. He stated that two people were injured in the incident and a nearby maternity hospital was evacuated as a safety precaution.
