He also emphasized the need for rescue operations to be conducted in a planned and scientific manner. Importance was placed on ensuring necessary safety and coordination while carrying out rescue work in remote and hazardous areas.
According to the Xinhua report, China has decided to provide emergency assistance to flood-stricken Nepal. Beijing also stated that it would coordinate with other nations in the rescue and relief efforts.
