Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel will eliminate Hamas, defeat and overthrow the Iranian regime, and take action against Hezbollah. He also remarked that the fall of Hezbollah is inevitable.
Netanyahu made these remarks on Thursday while addressing an awards ceremony for outstanding members of Shin Bet—Israel’s internal security agency—at the Israeli President’s residence. He also praised the agency’s operations during the event.
Netanyahu asserted, “We are witnessing a situation in the Gaza Strip that, I believe, is surprising everyone. We are delivering a fitting response to the murderers who killed our people—our daughters, wives, and children—on October 7. We are not sparing those who remain; though their numbers are no longer significant, as we are taking stern action against them.”
He added, “When we tell terrorists—’No one will escape; we will reach all of you’—you are the ones making that a reality.”
Netanyahu noted that the ambition harbored by Iran and its proxy groups to destroy the State of Israel has not vanished, though it has been weakened.
He further stated, “We will eliminate Hamas and, above all, defeat the Iranian regime. We will overthrow it; its fall is certain. We will also take action against Hezbollah, and they too will fall.”
