Sunny Leone (born Karenjit Kaur Vohra; May 13, 1981) is a Canadian-born Indian-American Actress, Model, and former Pornographic Actress. She was named Penthouse Pet of the Year in – 2003 and was a contract star for Vivid Entertainment. Named by Maxim as one of the 12 top porn stars in – 2010, she has also played roles in independent mainstream films and television shows. Her first mainstream appearance was in the 2005 Indian film Jism 2.

Leone was born in Sarnia, Ontario, to Sikh Punjabi parents. Her father was born in Tibet and raised in – Delhi, while her mother (who died in – 2008) was from Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. As a young girl, she was very athletic and played street hockey with the boys. Although she was raised as a Sikh, her parents enrolled her in a Catholic school, where she had her first kiss at 11, was a cheerleader, and discovered her bisexuality at 18….

Leone worked at a German bakery, a Jiffy Lube, and later a tax and retirement firm. When she was 15, her family moved to Fort Gratiot, Michigan, then to Lake Forest, California a year later. They settled in Orange County, California, when she was 16…

In 2003, she was named Penthouse Pet of the Year and starred in the video Penthouse Pets in Paradise alongside Tera Patrick and Krista Ayne. That same year, Leone signed a three-year contract with Vivid Entertainment, which ended in 2008. During her time with the company, she was featured in several movies, including Sherlyn Chopra’s Red Swastik, which was released in – 2007.

In 2011, Leone made her Bollywood debut in Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller Jism 2. She has appeared in an item number in the 2014 Bollywood film Ragini MMS 2 and the 2015 Bollywood film Ek Paheli Leela….

In 2017, Leone was seen in the Indian reality show Splitsvilla 10, where she was the host alongside Rannvijay Singh. She has also appeared in the Hindi music video “Laila Main Laila” from the film Raees (2017)….
