White House

A UFC fight event was organized on the White House grounds to mark U.S. President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday. A group of young men had hatched a plot to carry out a major attack during this event. However, the FBI managed to uncover the plan beforehand. Court documents reveal that five individuals have been taken into custody by the FBI for their alleged involvement in the scheme. The FBI alleges that the plan involved using a drone capable of carrying explosives to attack the White House from the north, while snipers targeted politicians and others as they exited the premises. According to court records, the five accused subscribe to anti-government conspiracy theories; they harbored grievances regarding the handling of the investigation into sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Additionally, one of the accused had expressed interest in targeting lawmakers who accepted campaign donations from pro-Israel groups. In a statement posted on the social media platform X, FBI official Kash Patel stated that on June 10, the FBI and partner law enforcement agencies learned of a potential threat regarding the ‘UFC America 250’ event in Washington, D.C. Individuals from outside the National Capital Region were implicated in this threat. At least three of the five arrested individuals have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. The group also faces charges including conspiracy to commit crimes against the United States and violations of firearms laws.

However, they have not yet entered a plea in court, and information regarding their legal counsel was not immediately available. Fox News Digital reported that up to 23 people could be involved in this terrorist ring. Authorities became aware of the plot when the mother of a 19-year-old suspect named Tysen Proper, from Ohio, contacted local police. She reported that her son had purchased several weapons and was communicating online with suspicious individuals. Tyson Proper later admitted to an FBI agent that he was aware of a planned and coordinated attack on a UFC event. U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that authorities are investigating the underground networks behind such violence. In an interview with Fox News, Vance remarked that twenty-three individuals could not reach the stage of launching a mass terrorist attack in Washington, D.C., without significant funding and coordinated planning; this was not merely the madness of a few people, but a well-planned terrorist plot.
