Singer Haerin’s birthday falls on May 15. ADOR—the parent company of NewJeans—extended its birthday wishes to her via social media. ADOR posted, “Happy Haerin Day,” accompanying the message with a photo of Haerin.

In the image, Haerin is seen standing on a beach, holding flowers in her hands and gazing directly at the camera. She appears with long hair and a fresh, elegant look. Photos taken at various European-style locations—where she is seen wearing crop tops and off-shoulder outfits—lend Haerin a more mature appearance.

Within just a few hours of being posted, the update garnered over 680,000 likes. Fans, too, expressed their excitement in the comments section. Some asked, “Are they making a comeback?” while others remarked, “Haerin looks so much more mature.”

Some fans speculate that the photos may have been taken in Copenhagen, Denmark. ADOR previously confirmed that members Hyein, Haerin, and Hanni had traveled to Copenhagen for music production work.

The five-member group NewJeans has been inactive for quite some time. This hiatus stems from a prolonged legal dispute with their agency. In November 2024, the members issued a notice to ADOR seeking to terminate their contracts, citing the agency’s alleged failure to fulfill its management responsibilities.

Subsequently, when ADOR filed a lawsuit to uphold the validity of the contracts, the initial court ruling went against the members. As a result, group activities have remained at a standstill for an extended period.

Last November, ADOR confirmed the return of members Hyein, Haerin, and Hanni. At the same time, the agency announced the termination of its contract with Danielle. No final decision has yet been reached regarding Minji’s future.
