The Israeli military has announced that four of its soldiers were killed during fighting in southern Lebanon. The military released the identity of one of the fallen soldiers: Lieutenant Dor Gedalia Ben-Simhon (32), a commander in the 52nd Battalion and the 41st Brigade. Al Jazeera reported this news.
Despite calls to halt attacks under a US-Iran-backed understanding, the Israeli military stated it is continuing operations targeting Hezbollah members and their infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) acknowledged carrying out numerous strikes in southern Lebanon overnight, noting that these actions were taken in response to repeated ceasefire violations by Hezbollah. In the process, they are also losing their own soldiers on the battlefield.
