Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is getting married today to Gauri Spratt. The wedding ceremony is taking place at the actor’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Although the two have known each other for nearly 25 years, they entered into a romantic relationship only two years ago. Aamir Khan introduced Gauri Spratt to the media and confirmed their relationship for the first time during a press conference held to mark his 60th birthday. Various sources reported on June 3rd that Aamir and Gauri were preparing for the wedding; the 61-year-old actor himself confirmed the news the following day. NDTV Online reported this story.
The wedding will be an intimate family affair held at Aamir Khan’s Bandra residence. The guest list includes approximately 150 people, among them several relatives arriving from abroad. Aamir Khan’s three children—Junaid Khan, Ira Khan, and Azad Rao Khan—are expected to attend the ceremony. Gauri Spratt’s six-year-old son from a previous marriage will also be present, though he has always remained away from media scrutiny.

Aamir Khan has been married twice before. In 1986, he married his childhood friend Reena Dutta in a private, low-key ceremony. They have a son, Junaid, and a daughter, Ira. Junaid has already begun acting in films, while Ira works on mental health awareness. Aamir and Reena divorced in 2002 after 16 years of marriage. Subsequently, in 2005, Aamir married Kiran Rao. They met during the filming of Lagaan (released in 2001), where Kiran served as an assistant director. Although they divorced in 2021, they continue to share joint custody of their son, Azad. Gauri Spratt is originally from Bangalore and has spent most of her life there. She is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who owned a beauty salon in Bangalore. According to Gauri’s LinkedIn profile, she studied at Blue Mountain School. Later, in 2004, she completed a fashion course in FDA Styling and Photography at the University of the Arts, London. The same profile indicates that she currently manages a branch of the Bibilant Salon in Mumbai.
