Behati Prinsloo is a Namibian supermodel, best known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She is one of the most successful models of all time, having been featured in numerous international campaigns and editorials.
Behati Prinsloo was born in Grootfontein, Namibia on May 16, 1989. She was raised by her grandparents, both of whom were teachers & has two older sisters. At the age of 16, she moved to London to Pursue a career in Modeling. Prinsloo first gained notoriety when she was featured as a “Model of the Week” in the British edition of Vogue magazine.
In 2008, Prinsloo signed with the modeling agency DNA Model Management. She has since become one of the most sought-after models in the world, appearing in numerous international campaigns and editorials. Prinsloo has also been featured in the iconic Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, as well as the Victoria’s Secret catalog.
In 2009, Prinsloo was named a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She has walked in the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show for eight consecutive years, and has been featured in numerous campaigns for the lingerie brand. In 2017, Prinsloo was selected as the face of the brand’s “Dream Angels” fragrance.
In addition to her modeling career, Prinsloo has also been involved in charity work. She is an ambassador for the “Children in Crisis” organization, which provides educational and healthcare services to children in some of the world’s poorest countries. Prinsloo is also active in animal rights activism, and has spoken out against the ivory trade.
In 2013, Prinsloo married Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. The couple have two daughters, Dusty Rose and Gio Grace. Prinsloo currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
