Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a meeting with US President Donald Trump. The meeting was held at the White House. Netanyahu called this meeting “one of the best ever”. Along with that, he denied the rumors of tension between US-Israel relations.
In an interview with Fox News after the meeting, Netanyahu said the two countries share the same goal of stopping Iran’s nuclear program.
“I always like to disappoint those who are waiting to find a crack in our alliance,” he said. Because they see not cracks, but solid relationships like granite walls.’
Referring to Iran’s nuclear program, Netanyahu said, “We do not want this extremist government in Tehran to own nuclear weapons, with which they can threaten the existence of Americans, world peace, and Israel.”
Since Trump’s second term in office in January 2025, Netanyahu has visited the White House eight times, more than any other foreign leader.
