Hundreds of people protested in Washington, USA, demanding the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They demanded the execution of the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is visiting the United States.
Video verified by Al Jazeera showed protesters marching towards the White House despite heavy rain and tight security.
Some protesters also managed to enter the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, where Netanyahu was having dinner. However, security officials forcibly removed them. At that time, the protesters chanted various slogans referring to Netanyahu as a mass murderer.
The ICC has issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant in 2024 for war crimes and crimes against humanity during Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
