Israel has continued its attacks on Lebanon, disregarding warnings from US President Donald Trump and Iran. The country has launched fresh strikes in southern Lebanon. Lebanon’s state news agency (NNA) reported that at least 16 people were killed and several others injured or missing following Israeli airstrikes across the Nabatieh district. The agency described the post-midnight bombardment—which targeted multiple homes—as one of Israel’s most intense attacks in the area.

The NNA reported Israeli artillery shelling in the city of Nabatieh as well as in several surrounding towns, including Kfar Jouz, Kfar Remman, and Zebdine. Subsequently, airstrikes were carried out in the mountainous areas of Kfar Tibnit and Rayhan. According to the agency’s report, at least eight people were killed in Nabatieh and Harouf. Four people died in a strike on a house between Al-Sharqiya and Doueir, while three others were killed in an attack in the town of Kfar Sir. Additionally, one person was killed and another injured in an Israeli drone strike on a motorcycle near the Doueir municipal building.
