US base in Kuwait

Iran has claimed to have carried out a surprise air strike on a US base located in Kuwait. The Guardian reported this information, citing Tehran’s state media.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the attack on the US airbase in Kuwait. The semi-official Fars News Agency reported that the strike targeted the Al-Salem airbase, where US Air Force units are stationed.

The IRGC claims that two hangars and fuel tanks were destroyed in the attack; these tanks supplied fuel to US military fighter jets and helicopters.

However, US forces have not yet commented on this attack.
Earlier on Thursday, Iran launched a retaliatory missile strike on the US airbase at Al-Azraq in Jordan. The IRGC claimed that three US F-35 fighter jets were destroyed and several US military personnel were killed in that attack.
